Oranmiyan “my case is settled”, a name derived of a strong Yoruba deity from Ile-Ife in Osun, a state of Nigeria where Oranmiyan Ajagundade originated. 


Ajagundade "Fougth to wear the Crown, a name given by the gods as he stated. Oranmiyan was born into a family of well-known drummers and drum makers of a royal lineage. The ancestral blood and art of drumming and drum making resonated in Oranmiyan; he began drumming as soon as he could walk.


Raised in Osogbo, a historic and world known tourist town that homes world’s influential and globally recognized Artists like Jimoh Buraimoh, Nike Davies, Twins 77 and the Austrian Artist, Susan Wenger.


His profound cultural embedment which was developed from listening to traditional Nigerian and international musicians such as Aruna Ishola, Sunny Okosun, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, King Sunny Ade, Ebenezer Obey, Hugh Masekela, I.K Dairo, Fatai Rolling Dollar, and international artists such as Bob Marley and the Wailers helped fuel a Pan Africanist mindset that shaped the creation of his unique and dynamic brand of music.


With a higher Education in Computer studies, Digital Media and his first love for Stage Drama, Oranmiyan has combined this knowledge and sense of creativity into outstanding music production and Audio-Visual productions as a script writer and Director.
